Daniel arrived in NYC in 1998 to pastor the congregation he currently serves, Compass Fellowship Church, in the Upper West Side. Having spent almost his entire life in Cali, he was welcomed to NY with parking tickets stamped 5:53am, a continuous parade‐barricade of through streets in Central Park fifteen minutes prior to Sunday service time, and the realization that 'curb your dog' really has no meaning at all. Daniel met the Lord in college while attending UC Berkeley and then felt the thrill of ministering to undergrads who were struggling just as mightily as he once had. These experiences stayed with him throughout his foray into engineering, law and eventually seminary GGBTS & PTS). Today, he does his best to keep up a personal spiritual edge, good relationships in the family of God, a less‐than‐respectable spiking ability, and a fun home life with his wife Mona and 2 kids, Nicholas and Rebekah.
