Ministry Description:
- set vision and direction for the Chinese speaking ministry
- teach from the pulpit on Sunday
- teach Sunday School and Bible Study
- develop leaders for ministry
- caring for the congregation needs
- direct ministry leaders to administer church functions and ministry activities such as: Small Group, Christian Education, Mission and Outreach, Worship Services,Prayer Ministry etc.
- work with other pastors in the church as a member of the pastoral staff (qualified candidates could be considered for senior pastor position)
Ministry Requirements:
- deep commitment to full time ministry
- Master of Divinity from an Accredited Seminary or equivalent experience
- five plus years of ministry experience in Chinese American Church setting preferred
- excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- fluency in spoken Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese) and written Chinese
