Church Description
OCM Canaan Church of Princeton is a ten years young community church. We are one of eight sister churches branched from the Oversea Chinese Mission of New York City. Our sister churches serves in NY and NJ areas. OCM Canaan Church is made up of a Chinese ministry and an English ministry serving in Greater Princeton area, New Jersey. Our church has 150+ members. Our English ministry is composed of around 35 individuals (15 youths and 20 adults). We are a multi-generation Chinese/English speaking families. Our mission is to introduce Jesus Christ to our community through worship, discipleship, teaching and counseling.
Candidate Duties and Responsibilities
He is mainly responsible to preach God’s Word on Sunday, teach Bible based Sunday school, oversee Friday night fellowships and develop new leaders. He will be involved in leading and organizing various outreach programs. He is to counsel and care for members.
Ministry Position Description
OCM Canaan Church of Princeton is seeking a long term full time English Pastor. The English pastor will shepherd our English congregation of youths and adults. He will work closely with our Chinese ministry pastor and the deacon board to disciple and mentor our English congregation.

- The pastor character should be consistent with the requirements as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
- Master of Divinity or higher
- Male
- Married
- Min. 2 year experience in ministry
- Counseling experience is a plus
- Live within a 30 minutes drive from church
