Church Description:
OCM Grace Church, founded in 1992, is a branch of OCM Main Church in Chinatown NYC. OCM Grace is in Northern NJ and serves the Chinese community mostly in Bergen County NJ and local residents in town. OCM Grace congregation is lead by English Pastor John Maxham and Chinese Minister Kan Chan. The church is located about 12 miles outside of NYC Manhattan.
Candidate Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate is to develop and lead youth fellowships; plan curriculum for Sunday school and teach one class in either Middle School or High School; work with other youth Sunday school teachers; organize retreats and investigate options for youth conferences and/or youth short term mission trips; to spend time with youths and their families; A full job description can be provided.
Ministry Position Description:
We are looking for a Youth Director with a heart felt passion for youths and to help them know Jesus as Savior & Friend. Candidate should be able to connect with Middle School and High School youths and their personality needs; to have an understanding of youth culture today and is relatable to them. Position can be either full time or part time, can be discussed.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree; English a must; Mandarin and/or Cantonese a plus but not required.
