Trinity Christian Church of Greater Philadelphia is a non-denominational ethnic Chinese church with about weekly attendance of about 350. The English ministry includes the adult ministry with about 25 -30 weekly attendance and youth ministry has weekly attendance of 60- 70.

Position Description:

The EM pastor will shepherd the adults in the English Ministry and also oversee the Youth Ministry with the youth pastor and the Children Ministry with the Chinese pastor.

Position Requirements

• Meet the Biblical qualifications of a church elder and teacher.
• Subscribe to the doctrinal beliefs of TCCGP.
• Master of Divinity or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Ordained minister. Previous experience in pastoring adults and youths required.
• Have a compassionate shepherd’s heart for people of all backgrounds and life stages.
• Embrace Biblical multi-culturalism.
• Ability to work with people and a team-player.
• Cross cultural experience, especially with US and Asian cultures, is preferred.
• Passion for outreach is required and church planting experience is preferred.

Candidate Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with other leaders to set direction for the adult English, youth and children ministries.
• Shepherding the adult English congregation, including discipleship and caring.
• Oversee the youth pastor and the youth ministry.
• Oversee the children ministry with the Chinese pastor.
• Preach from pulpit and share Sunday school and other Bible study teachings duties.
• Share overall church responsibilities as a member of the Elder Board.
