Church Description:
The Chinese Evangel Mission Church of Queens (CEMCQ) is a predominately Chinese-American church located in Bayside, Queens consisting of an English-speaking and a Chinese-speaking congregation.
Candidate Duties and Responsibilities:
The candidate is responsible for planning and providing direction to the youth ministry program and training and encouraging the youth to grow spiritually through Bible teachings and fellowship activities. Such activities may consist of Bible studies, youth worship, short-term mission trips, service to the poor and needy, fun events to foster unity and love, etc. The candidate will oversee a group of adult volunteers that assists with the youth ministry.
Ministry Position Description:
The Youth Director is responsible for overseeing the youth ministry program at the Chinese Evangel Mission Church of Queens.
Candidate Requirements:
The candidate should be a Christian and have experience and a desire and ability to work with youth at the Middle School and High School levels. A college degree is required but a seminary degree is not mandatory. English proficiency is a requirement.
