Presenters Pete Scazzero is founder and Senior Pastor of New Life Fellowship Church in Queens, New York City, a large, multiracial, international church with over sixty-five countries represented. A graduate of Gordon-Conwell (MDiv) and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (DMin in marriage and family), he is also the author of Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (Nelson, 2006), The Emotionally Healthy Church: Updated and Expanded (Zondervan, 2010), and Begin the Journey with the Daily Office (WCA, 2009). Geri Scazzero is a teaching pastor and director of marriage ministry at New Life. She also is the author of the book, I Quit, that will be released in September, 2010 by Zondervan. They are co-founders of Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, a groundbreaking ministry that integrates emotional health and contemplative spirituality to pastors, leaders and local churches. Post-conference Worship We encourage you to stay over Saturday night and attend one of our two worship services on Sunday morning (9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.) to experience the working out of emotionally healthy spirituality in a regular Sunday morning service. For many participants this has been one of the highlights of their time at the conference. |
